Welcome to Our Kids Corral
Nigerian Miniature
Dairy Goats

Our new farmhand: Gabriel, a Maremma Livestock Guardian Dog! Gabriel's bark is much worse than his bite.

Our New Home in North Carolina

Our home in NC is nestled in the quiet wooded foothills of the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains. The sunsets are breath-taking!

Bella, a Teacup Chihuahua

We love our goats, and it's mutual!

Keagan, a Boston Terrier

Bailey, a Portuguese
Water Dog

The local breeders we bought our goats from encouraged us to come to a goat show as an arena to learn more about these little goats. We immediately "got hooked" on showing, then breeding, and milking. Nigerian Miniature Goat breeders have got to be some of the nicest people you could meet. It doesn't take long to figure out they love these little goats as they do their own 2 legged kids! Now we enjoy helping new goat owners get started, just as others did with us. Some want to buy mothers in milk, some want pets, and others want to get more involved and into showing. That's the part we love to encourage.
Nigerian Miniature Dairy Goats are the BEST!!

In fact, they're worth drooling over!

Growing up in Minnesota with grandparents as farmers, loving animals is in our blood. We also absolutely love children. We have been running a family child care center out of our home for several years. What better combination than Nigerian Miniature Dairy Goats and family life!

Our own 3 children are grown, so we thought having small goats would be a fun hobby with our 6 grandchildren. As life would have it, we ended up enjoying it more than they do. We started out with 2 goats, and like potato chips, you always need/want "just one more!"

Meet the Other Farm Hands

Grandsons Niko and Daniel join in our family affair. Both the boys and the "girls," love the treats, smiles all around!

Our own 2 legged kids and their families have been so supportive of our "Goat Adventure!" Kim, Dennis, Jason, Justin, and Kara (our oldest daughter and her family) always offer to feed and care for the animals if we're away. Mark, Sandy, Daniel, and Niko (our son and his family) help out with projects around Kids Corral.
Krista, Danny, Isak, and Hannah (our youngest daughter and family) just love the whole idea of us raising Nigerian Miniature Goats!! When they bring their friends to visit us, everyone gets a lesson on milking and are awarded a blue ribbon saying, "I milked a Dairy Goat today!" As a family, we just love to have fun together.

Thanks Niko :)!
