Our Home in North Carolina

Our home in NC is nestled in the quiet wooded foothills of the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains. The sunsets are breath-taking!

Gabriel protects the property & the Troll protects the Bridge!!

Carol's sister, Donna, from Iowa Pam, from MN, and Julie from Iowa, also enjoy feeding the baby goats & taking pictures!!!

We love our goats, and it's mutual!

The local breeders we bought our goats from encouraged us to come to a goat show as an arena to learn more about these little goats. We immediately "got hooked" on showing, then breeding, and milking. Nigerian Miniature Goat breeders have got to be some of the nicest people you could meet. It doesn't take long to figure out they love these little goats as they do their own 2 legged kids! Now we enjoy helping new goat owners get started, just as others did with us. Some want to buy mothers in milk, some want pets, and others want to get more involved and into showing. That's the part we love to encourage.
Nigerian Miniature Dairy Goats are the BEST!!

In fact, they're worth drooling over!

Growing up in Minnesota with grandparents as farmers, loving animals is in our blood. We also absolutely love children. We have been running a family child care center out of our home for several years. What better combination than Nigerian Miniature Dairy Goats and family life!

Our own 3 children are grown, so we thought having small goats would be a fun hobby with our 11 grandchildren. As life would have it, we ended up enjoying it more than they do. We started out with 2 goats, and like potato chips, you always need/want "just one more!"
